Ventura Sunset Photos on Canvas

Ventura Sunset Photos on Canvas Ventura Pier was shortened over 300 feet to its current configuration. Situated along California’s scenic central coast, the City of Ventura was once referred to as the “land of endless summers” and even the “city of good fortune”. Like all California public piers, you can fish for free on the pier so you will often see fishermen tending to one or several lines, and sometimes reeling in a big fish. For those visitors more into surfing than swimming make a stop at the rocky, narrow beach of Surfer’s Point. When it is time to take a break from the surf and sand, you can head to the vibrant restaurants, galleries and more of Ventura Harbor. The beach area with the most sand is next to the main day-use parking lot. This beach features swimming, surfing and picnicking. The beach has two miles of sandy beach, sand dunes, picnic sites, a parking lot, a snack bar and a beach-equipment rental shop. Bike trails connect other nearby beaches. The beach is the site for a number of special events, such as the triathlons, and volleyball tournaments. Ventura Pier, the 8th longest pier in California at 1, 620 feet in length, is a must-visit during drives along the California Coast. Ventura is a vibrant town that checks stress and pretense at the door. Its artistic culture, enduring history, and privileged locale is crazy-inviting, very much alive, and refreshingly human. Ventura Pier is a favorite attraction for fishing, picnics, sunset strolls and beautiful views of Ventura County's coastline and the Channel Islands. While most of Ventura's Nightlife is located downtown, a few choice spots are worth the drive off the beaten path.
