Crescent Beach is a beautiful stretch of the Florida coast just south of St. Augustine, Florida. Vistors to Crescent Beach can enjoy water sports like surfing, swimming, boogie boarding, and boating from the many marked public access points. The hard-packed sand also lends itself to activities including beach bike rides, walks, Frisbee, and volleyball. Guests can spend a day relaxing at the beach, enjoy a family outing, or afternoon walks along part of Florida's historic coast. Crescent Beach is located between St. Augustine Beach and Butler Beach. It is a small community with little commercial development. There are plenty of beach house rentals, condos, and cottages available in Crescent Beach. Wooden decks provide a safe access to the beach across the protected sand dunes in the Florida coast. Driving is allowed at Crescent Beach Ramp. Just north of Ocean Blvd and Beach Road, Crescent Beach includes the public beach of Siesta and extends southward to Point O’ Rocks. Beach access and limited parking can be found at the intersection of Beach road and Ocean Blvd. While an 800-car public parking facility is available at Siesta Beach. South of the Public Beach (Siesta Beach), resorts and high-rise condominiums lay claim to the shoreline with no public access available. Although Crescent Beach does not offer the lifeguards and concessions of Siesta Beach, it does share the same beautiful sand, and tranquil waters with a more relaxed solitary feel.
