Dry Falls Rolled Canvas Prints

Dry Falls Rolled Canvas Prints Dry Falls, also known as Upper Cullasaja Falls, is a waterfall located in the Nantahala National Forest, northwest of Highlands, North Carolina. During rainy spells when the water volume is higher, the spray will prevent you from staying totally dry. Less than a mile from Bridal Veil Falls, Dry Fall drops 80 feet, 40 feet of that distance is free fall. The neat thing about this falls is that an easy, paved path leads down from the parking lot, taking you inside the recessed ledge behind the roaring and sometimes drenching waters for a view from the other side. Everyone can enjoy the view from a fully accessible observation area adjacent to the parking area. It is a short walk down the trail to reach the falls. While the view is nice from the roadside observation deck, the real treat is getting a closer look by climbing down the stairs and short path. There are many great vantage points along the way for photos. You may be able to see a rainbow if you and the sun are in the right position. The spray from the falls may get you wet when you walk behind it, so have somewhere to hide your camera or anything you donot want to get wet. But it is usually just a little mist. Dry Falls flows on the Cullasaja River through the Nantahala National Forest. It is part of a series of waterfalls on an 8.7-mile (14 km) stretch of the river that eventually ends with Cullasaja Falls. Dry Falls flows over an overhanging bluff that allows visitors to walk up under the falls and remain relatively dry when the water flow is low, hence its name. Visitors will get wet if the water flow is high.
