The tour provides stops at all major points of interest at Kalaupapa, including the Kalaupapa Bookstore. The tour stops for lunch at Kalawao on the windward side of the peninsula with scenic views of the north shore cliffs and off-shore islands. Camping is prohibited at Kalaupapa National Historical Park. There are also no overnight accommodations in Kalaupapa settlement for visitors. The nearest camping facility is located at Palaau State Park, topside Molokai. Palaau State Park sits at an elevation approximately 1600 feet above Kalaupapa Peninsula at the edge of the steep north-shore pali cliffs of Molokai.
