Love Canal Gallery Wrapped Canvas Prints

Love Canal Gallery Wrapped Canvas Prints This canal of love forms one of the major water traffic corridors in the city. Public transport is provided by water buses and private water taxis, and many tourists explore the canal by gondola. One end of the canal leads into the lagoon near the Santa Lucia railway station and the other end leads into Saint Mark Basin, in between, it makes a large reverse-S shape through the central districts of Venice. It is 3.8 km long, and 30 to 90 m wide, with an average depth of five meters. The Canal snakes through the city of Venice in a large S shape, traveling from the Saint Mark Basin on one end to a lagoon near the Santa Lucia rail station on the other. The canal is an ancient waterway, lined with buildings in all and that were mostly built from the thirteenth to the eighteenth centuries. Most were constructed by wealthy Venetian families. These waterways carry the bulk of Venetian transportation, as automobiles are banned throughout much of the city. Traditional poled gondolas are a favorite with tourists but are now vastly outnumbered by motorized public-transit water buses and private water taxis. The connection between Venetians and their city main thoroughfare does not end at the grave, funeral barges can be seen transporting the dead to Isola di San Michele, an island northeast of the city that has been the site of Venice’s largest cemetery since the early 19th century. By the tenth century, it was a center for trade and a safe, ship-accessible port. Because of this, some of the earliest houses along the canal belonged to merchants who did their business on the seas.
