Rocky Grandeur Stretched Canvas Prints
Located about 10 miles northwest of Malibu, this secluded pocket beach has rocky shores, robust waves and some of the clearest water in Los Angeles. Rock appears to have the upper hand, apparently unaffected by the relentless slaps of water. Central California also has its share of lovely beaches and rugged shorelines. Monterey Bay, perhaps best-known for its Monterey Bay Aquarium and historic Cannery Row, is lined with rocky outcrops, cliffs and hidden coves. On the western outskirts of Malibu California is a state park with picturesque natural features and diverse beaches. With nearly three-dozen beaches to choose from, Malibu is a beach lover’s dream. From the iconic Surfrider Beach, famous for world-class surfing and movies like Gidget, to one of the area’s cleanest beaches at Zuma Beach, to the cave-like rocks and cliffs of El Matador State Beach, there are plenty of options. Big Rock Beach is a narrow rocky beach in Malibu that is under water during higher tides. Las Tunas County Beach is a small rocky beach in eastern Malibu. No matter where you venture, be careful to only walk on rocks and not in the pools themselves. South Beach has a wide rocky shoreline provides easy access to many small tide pools. The tide pools can be found by the big rocks near the sand. There are also a number of rock formations that can be explored at low tide which usually hide interesting sea creatures.
